New Zealand is known for it’s amazing scenery and beautiful countryside. Marinda was lucky enough to experience New Zealand in all its glory over Auckland Anniversary weekend when she and her husband went camping near Piha.
Just an hour away from Auckland lies a stunning place to explore. Marinda and James packed their tents and their hats and set off to make the most of the Auckland sunshine.
Being the active and outdoorsy type, Marinda and James managed to squeeze in 3 hiking trails in one day (I got tired just typing that sentence!) as well as soak up some vitamin D on their travels. If you’re interested in any of the walks, you can find a trail map here.
I’m incredibly impressed with their professional tent set up and was a little tempted to purchase one myself until I realised I’d actually have to go camping to justify that buy. I’ll stick to looking at the beautiful photos Marinda brings back to work with her and satisfy myself with a day trip to the beach.
